When it comes to holiday cards, you can always count on mine to hit mailboxes the first week of February. That is because I always send my "Happy New Year" wishes after everyone has put away their bombardment of Christmas and Hanukkah cards they received from November through January.

It is a tradition I began about 10 years ago and I find it is a good way to extend holiday cheer when some people least expect it.

This is our card (front & back) for 2012, which includes the baby's aquatic skills under water. Of course, he wouldn't be a true child of Halloween parents if he didn't don a Superman costume in one of his swim photos:
