ILLUSTRATED BY ANNE LEAF IN 1962, two years after she illustrated a similar series of cocktail napkins called "Wry Martinis." Drawn in the bold charcoal-illustration style of cartooning that you could learn from the back of a matchbook, this is a collection of comical vignettes of drinkers, mostly intoxicated, if their red noses, sleepy eyes, and the bubbles around their heads are any indication.
